The Megaphone Hailer will help schools offer secure, safe learning environments for their students and help direct schoolyard emergencies when directions must be heard. The rugged weatherproof megaphone design has an effective range of up to one mile. Megaphones function in three modes: talk mode, siren mode and whistle mode, all of which have adjustable volume. The 15-watt megaphone runs on eight AA batteries, has a 5/8 mile range and lasts 18 hours continuously. The 25-watt megaphone runs on eight C batteries, has a one mile range and lasts 40 hours continuously.
